Lampshade Making Kit with Hand Printed Linen Fabric

Get creative in your own home and make yourself a beautiful lampshade using Helen's handprinted linen fabric.

Choose from either a 20cm or a 30cm diameter drum shade. The price includes all necessary materials including a hand printed linen lampshade panel of your choice.

What's in the kit?

• A ring set suitable for a lamp or pendant fitting
• Adhesive plastic backing
• Roll of tape
• Linen fabric of your choice
• Full, step by step instructions

All lampshade materials are included in the kit. You'll just need a pair of fabric scissors and a pair of household scissors along with an old store or credit card for perfect finishing!  Watch our step by step video to find out how easy it is to make your own lampshade, you can stop and start this at any time. 

This is a great opportunity to get creative and spruce up your lampshades which you can then show off to all your friends!

The finished shades sizes are:- 20cm x 20cm and 30cm x 20cm and can be made for either a table lamp base or a ceiling pendant fitting.

"Learning how to make a lampshade is so satisfying", says Helen. "You start with a flat rectangular shaped piece of fabric and can't imagine quite how you are going to turn it into a beautiful shade with crisp tidy edges. After just a short time, you realise it's going to be one of those things that you just want to do again...that's why we make two lampshades during the workshop!"
