Are you planning to 'head west' this summer to enjoy the beautiful Cornish coastline? If so, do pop in and say hello. From 23rd - 31st August my studio will be open to visitors for the annual Drawn to The Valley Open Studios Event. This is a wonderful opportunity to peek into a wide variety of studios across The Tamar Valley, talk to artists about their work and buy items directly from the makers. This year, we will be offering a very special 20% off all purchases of cushions and lampshades. Open daily from 11-5, with a late night opening on Friday 29th August, until 8pm. Once again, I shall be exhibiting with the potter, Jill Holland whose beautiful ceramics will also be available to purchase during the event. I recently came across this fabulous little video which I'd like to share (see the link below). It shows the beautiful coastline of Whitsand Bay, just over the hill from my studio, from where the inspiration for the Rame Head Collection was drawn….locally know as 'Cornwall's Forgotten Corner'….. well worth a visit! Do check out our growing list of wonderful Cornish stockists. I'm excited to announce that I shall be returning to London in September, having been selected to show at Top Drawer with Spotted+. Chosen for quality and originality by style writer Charlotte Abrahams, I am delighted to be part of this leading homewares and accessories trade event, being held at the newly refurbished Olympia. We shall be launching a new collection, adding a new product and also a beautiful new linen colour to our range….. all to be revealed in next months newsletter!
