What is the South West Coast Path Passport?

The South West Coast Path Passport is a fantastic initiative designed to help walkers document their journey along this breathtaking 630-mile route. It allows walkers to collect stamps from various locations along the way, creating a unique and personal record of their travels. As well as adding an extra layer of fun to the experience, it also helps support the South West Coast Path Association, which works to maintain and protect this incredible trail.

Why Stop at Helen Round?

Our beautiful sustainable textile shop and studio is located at the top of the hill overlooking Plymouth Sound, near the picturesque village of Millbrook and the historic fishing villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, on the Rame Peninsula in Cornwall.  The shop is renowned for its beautifully designed, hand-printed linens and eco-friendly homeware, inspired by the Cornish coastline and countryside.  We also stock a wide range of gifts, cards, jewellery, with many items made locally alongside a few delicious treats like honey, peanut butter and delicious organic chocolate.

Supporting Local Businesses and the Path

By visiting Helen Round and other participating passport stamping locations, walkers help support local businesses that are deeply connected to the South West Coast Path. Many of these small businesses rely on the footfall of hikers to sustain their trade, and in return, they offer a welcoming space for adventurers to rest and refuel.

Additionally, every stamp collected in the passport contributes to raising awareness and funding for the upkeep of the South West Coast Path. This ensures that future generations can continue to enjoy one of the most spectacular walking routes in the world.
