Experience A Little Cornish Magic With Our New Soy Wax Candles

Experience A Little Cornish Magic With Our New Soy Wax Candles

We love where we live. The Rame Peninsula, here in South East Cornwall is a unique environment.  We feel very privileged to have our Shop and Studio at the top of the hill at Maker Heights, surrounded by the ancient fields and dramatic nature that inspires our designs.

Rame Peninsula isn’t just about the visual beauty of the place and the sense of history, it’s also about the smell of the earth after it rains, the fragrance of the wildflowers in the morning dew and the scents from the hedgerows at the end of a hot summer's day.

We are so happy to bring you two new candles, fragranced with pure, natural Essential Oils that we think reflect the wild beauty and magic of this wonderful place.

Rmae Head and Maker Heights Soy Wax Candles from Helen Round

Rame Head features the relaxing and heady scents of mandarin blended with grounding patchouli and soothing ylang ylang.  Ylang ylang brings us closer to our emotions and to our sense of pleasure, whilst grounding patchouli draws energy down into the body.

Maker Heights offer a harmonious essential oil blend of French Lavender, Indian Patchouli, Maritime Pine, Cypress and Frankincense. It starts with a dynamic burst of grassiness, greenery and open skies, subtly maturing into a rich spicy aroma, with closing notes of warm, earthy wood and balmy ambergris.

Both candles are natural soy wax and contain pure essential oils to create each memorable fragrance.

🌿  100% natural soy wax
🌿  100% pure natural Essential Oils
🌿  No colourants or dyes
🌿  Burns longer and cleaner than paraffin wax

We chose soy wax candles because soy wax is a natural, renewable resource, derived from soybeans. It’s biodegradable and non-toxic, making it kind to the environment.

Soy candles produce a cleaner burn creating less soot than paraffin wax, which means fewer pollutants are released into the air. This leads to better air quality in your home and also reduces the risk of black soot stains on walls and ceilings, keeping your space cleaner.

We also know that soy candles burn longer and more evenly. Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin, which means it burns more slowly, offering better value for money. The slower burn time also allows for a more gradual and consistent release of fragrance, making the scents last longer and fill the room evenly.

As the evenings draw in, now could be the perfect time to enjoy these subtly fragranced candles soy wax candles, to create wild and magical Cornish beauty in your home!
