My dream for creating beautiful and functional linen products for the home made its debut on my kitchen table in early 2012. I have always loved fabrics and printmaking so this, combined with my background in fine art textiles, is how the journey began.
From the start I was keen to make sure that everything we make is long lasting and that we reuse and recycle as much as possible - it is at the heart of what we do.
As our business has grown we have worked hard to ensure that sustainability is one of our core values.
Our materials are sustainably sourced and Oeko-Tex certified, meaning the manufacture process is free from harmful chemicals. We are passionate about using natural fibres and work with linen and bamboo as our main fabrics.
Why Use Bamboo?
Bamboo is a fast-growing resource and can be grown free from pesticides. Bamboo releases 30% more oxygen into the atmosphere and absorbs more carbon dioxide compared to other plants. Compared to cotton, it needs 35% less water to grow and is one of the fastest growing plants in the world.
The Bamboo towelling we use is soft and strong. Our lovely Bamboo products include face cloths, shower mitt and reusable make up wipes. All of these are included in our Luxury Eco Bathroom Gift Set.
The Benefits of Linen
Linen comes from the flax plant; it requires no extra water, apart from rain water, and no pesticides to grow a crop. Every part of the flax plant is used. Linen textiles appear to be some of the oldest in the world.

New Products with a Focus on Recycle & Reuse
We recycle and reuse as much fabric as possible.
Our Eco Collection was developed with the deliberate intention to make the best use of all our leftover bits and pieces of fabric. The team and I came up with new ideas for desirable, useful products which used left over, smaller pieces of our linen and bamboo fabrics. This lead to a reduction in fabric waste throughout our business.
Our Eco Sponge is a great example of this new thinking.
This reusable Eco Sponge was developed with super soft bamboo on one side and gently exfoliating linen on the other. The Sponge is filled with bamboo scraps from our bamboo off cuts. It fits neatly in the palm of your hand and can be used again and again as a useful addition to your daily bath or shower.
On one side of our Eco Sponge you will find a super soft bamboo surface which is so soft on your skin, and on the other, a gently exfoliating linen to leave you feeling fresh and supple.
Like the Eco Sponge, many of our smaller products are made from studio off-cuts of linen, minimising waste.
Originally launched in February 2019 our Eco Range has grown to be an important part of our business.
Then, as now, our central purpose is to make sustainable, reusable products that are beautiful, long lasting and that tread lightly on the earth.
Food on the Go!
Our reusable Snack Bag and Sandwich Wraps are designed for regular use, reducing the need for single use plastic while eating when you are out and about. You can buy these individually in a range of gorgeous colours, one for everyone in your family, or take advantage of our eco lunch gift set with a small discount for buying a sandwich wrap and snack bag together!
Our Linen Bowl Covers stretch neatly over a range of bowls - choose from a multi-sized set of three or our large party size! Fully washable, you can use them again and again for covering food on your worktops, in the garden, or in the fridge.
Fabric Scraps for Schools and Craft Projects
We sell our fabric scraps, both printed and plain for craft projects like patchwork or applique.
Any much smaller fabric scraps that can’t be used in the studio are sent to local schools for crafting projects.
Keeping it Local
We cut, make and print our products in our Cornish Studios which has a very positive impact on our carbon footprint. Wherever possible, we source all materials as close to home as we can.
Make Your Own Fabric Twine
Working with the Crafts Council, I recently ran a 20-minute workshop on how to make Fabric Twine from linen or other fabric scraps as part of their Hey Craft! Festival.
Using selvedges from our linen, it was fun to show that it's always possible to make use of leftover fabric to create something useful!
Fabric Twine can be used for wrapping presents, knitting and crocheting amongst many other craft projects. Why not have a go?
