Whilst being far from a sewing expert, I do have some sewing experience (and I'm intelligent) but I found this pattern quite difficult to follow. I feel a lot of it could have been worded differently. I used to write lots of instructions in my career, and was taught to put myself in the eyes of whoever was reading it, and imagining they had never performed that task before, but found these instructions to be written by someone who hadn't done that. I found them very confusing in places, and the pictures werent very clear either. On a positive note, the finished project came out well, although it did take me much longer to make than expected.

The pattern has really easy to follow and clear instructions to make a lovely laundry bag. Helen was so helpful when I had a difficulty accessing the pattern download (my technical know how was the problem!) and persevered until I was able to receive the pattern, which I was really grateful for - such excellent service, especially as the pattern was free. Now all I need to do is choose which of Helen’s gorgeous linens to make the laundry bag from…..
